Don - I would seriously re-think strapping your baby girl into a chair attached to the top side of a boat!  i know you woudl never intentionally let anything happen, but what if something happens to you (ie heart attack, jig to the forehead, etc. we have all read the stories), you then have your child strapped to a boat that you could very well have flipped over in your struggles with you unconscious!!!!

Believe me, I thought long and hard about doing the same thing with my boy, but there is no way that I can think of that does not increase the danger level dramatically.  Be patient and she will be able to sit still so you can fish in the very near future - or just fish from shore when she is going out with you.

Disclaimer: For the serious among us, the occupant of the bluegill fighting chair must ALWAYS wear a life preserver. Also, the bluegill fighting chair can only be used in lakes and ponds, under calm water conditions. The bluegill fighting chair is not for use on waters where large wakes are ever present. The chair is absolutely not to be used in water with any significant current (i.e. NO RIVERS).

The basic setup...

The chair includes a DVD Player, with HD Monitor....and a color coordinated life preserver.
It also doubles as a bass judging station...look at the judge's eyes

We're basically looking at 2"X1" wood strips glued and screwed together (leftover wood from other projects) to make 2 2"x2" strips. The wood was then anchored in the boat deck and four hardware pieces were added: 2 eyes, 2 hooks. We then thread a tie down through the hardware and the chair doesn't move. The wood takes care of the fore/aft movement and the tie down takes care of the lateral movement. The HD DVD takes care of the occupant's movement  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin

Fishing anytime...no babysitter required... Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Wink

See you on the bank Ken,
Thanks for your contributions while you were here. I think the sad thing is there is a lot of drama on the internet wherever you go, and likely THAT is what isn't for you. If you ever do come back, I'd be happy to have you. I'd trade Romo in for you any day Wink
