My favorite show by far. The one where he takes the helicopter and they only fish for an hour was the best fishing show I ever saw. They were fishing in virgin water and it was fish after fish. The one guy caught a wolf fish that was HUGE.

Yeh Romo, I am defintely going to do an Amazon trip....some day.  Hopefully within the next 5-10 years.

Golden Dorado, Monster Cats, Peacock Bass, Wolf Fish..... will all be on the itinerary.

I better start saving now.  Looking like $6,000 trip, minimum.

How about aripaimas?

I think golden dorados are a southern fish and wolf fish is found far north.  Won't be able to do both!

Muskies are quite curious predators...sometimes "normal" lures won't raise them but you throw on the weirdest looking thing you have that don't resemble anything they'd naturally eat and they'll come out of hiding...then its just a matter of enticing them with the figure 8  Wink

Yeah, but locals are usually fishing for food or subsistence...not for sport...
