Sadly, I didn't do as much fishing as I would have liked in 2009... but the time I was able to spend produced some quality fish and good times.

Biggest Schuylkill Carp, 32+

Schuylkill Grass Carp, 22

Austin Grass Carp, estimated PB at 50+ (I have caught them to 47 before)

I blanked my ass off in foreign countries.

No carp in England or the World Championships in France. But I visited the Dynamite Baits factory, caught loads of bream and roach (new species for me) and my first pike.
Fished the CAG Classic in Ontario and blanked in that too.

Those are some nice fish everyone!!! I intended to start 2009 off right, but it just didnt work out for me this time. I managed to get out for the usual FW species and hit the salt a few times, but there wasnt any fish that you havent already seen, or that would be worth putting up, so I will spare you all the "dinkness" of 2009. Then in May my daughter was born, and essentially ended my efforts towards fishing. Now that she is getting a little older, I should be able to get a fishing routine back in order for 2010. All in all 2009 sucked for me.... and like Deftik said, without motivated friends, it can be tough on the spirit going solo on certain trips. Only 2 fish come to mind for 2009.... first ever keeper bass from the salt off of the 'yak, and putting my cousin onto a keeper bass caught on live eel recently.....and maybe a few decent 'eyes locally. I missed getting up with you guys for flatheads this year, so next year its on.  2010 is going to be a waaaaaaaay better year for me. 2010 is going to be a "put up or shut up" year for sure.....see ya on the water.

Again, to all that have posted....you all did a great job on quality fish!!

Unfortunately i lost a ton of my online pics when the host site crashed and burned (MyFishPix.com)

I did a ton of Tuna fishing again this year - highlight was landing a nice Wahoo (I was the line man for this catch)

Did manage some tasty Dolphin - I lost count at 50 but they were everywhere this year

Best time was when will filled up on Yellowfins when no other boat could buy a tuna for the whole week!

Largemouth was good again - More fish over 5lbs then in may recent years.  Also, started busting them pretty good on spinnerbaits at night  -makes your hair stand on end when they smash at teh fast moving bait in the dark

Played with the Crappie all fall - great little fish to catch and lots of them

Chunking the DE bay this fall

A new spot in Northern Delaware produced lost of smaller stripers

This thread has got to be some of the best fish porn I've ever seen.  Awesome job everyone, too many dandy fish to mention!  I might be rather far away from you all being in Ohio... but the multi species enthusiasts on this site will always have me coming back!  Once again, fantastic catches, gratz all.

My year was rather craptastic outside of an odd 5 lb. Red Bellied Pacu caught in a local river.  Even have mixed feelings about that as if people were responsible with their pets I wouldn't have caught it.  Did make for a good memory...  anyways, here's my 2009 review from northern Ohio;
