Yea vote philly!
We have plenty of local fish to catch.  Not to mention some are really quality fish.  Shore is pretty close by.  Great lakes aren't too far away.  We have four seasons, so that ice fishing can be done in winter, and we can wet wade during summer.
All kinds of fishing is close by.  What more we want? :o
Always thinking of fishing around Philly....

I can name 30 cities in Florida that would wipe their butts with Fairmount Dam and the Wissahickon Creek.

I don't know of a single one that would even come close after a week of mild winter weather. If the thermometer hits 30° the season is done. The other thing I remember from my time down there was you didn't fish freshwater at night from the bank."
