I am the king of runt LMB. My largest PA bass until last week was probably just shy of three pounds. Most of the bass I catch are in the 1-2 pound class. I only fish tidal waters for LMB and am not really targeting them. I could never seem to catch a decent one… until last week.

When this fish took my Mann's Wake Bait, the last thing I expected to see was a big bass. I was thinking snakehead, bowfin or channel cat. This bass actually took some drag and put a bend in my rod.  I wish a few more of my bass were like this one. I would guess this guy was somewhere between four-five pounds.

Nice one. I'm sure you'll be climbing the PB ladder steadily.
