First and foremost in 2013 I will catch a Northern Snakehead even if that means driving to the Potomac. I may even break from CPR to see what they taste like.

I need to up the ante' on saltwater fishing, I'm pretty lacking in all things salt, sharks would be cool, but not sure if that'll happen/when/how. Ill start with the sea robins and go from there ;)

Break 100 species of fish caught, so far I'm at 82.

White calico

Catch a slammer black drum and not charter with the dildo from stalker charters again

Catch carp/koi consistently and on my own.

Upgrade shitty Pb photos, fish pickerels more

Spend less time online and more fishing.

Me personally? Not quite sure I've fished for the same species most of my life so ive had my fill of largemouth bass, perch and pickerel. Unless they are PBS I'd rather fish for something else.

Fishing is one of those things where if your not taught first hand how to do things it's hard. First you have to decide if you want to target a specific species or any kind of fish in general, which is inherently a catch 22 if you go species specific you'll be very good at catching that fish and eventually very bored, if you branch out too far as i have the tendency to do you become mediocre at best, at catching everything. Google helps with this nowadays if your willing to do research anythings possible, of course an active online fishing forum would obviously have its benefits. there are two "fish seasons" spring and fall. Summer tends to be dead and winter is for the crazies (myself included). Different rods and line tests are used for different fish so you will need more than one setup if your willing to "branch out". It took me a long time to learn that lesson. Now is a pretty crap time unless your a diehard I would use the winter to do necessary research and stock up on supplies for April. Hope that helps.
